Placida Nava Moreno, age 50 of Broadway, died Monday (3/11/2019) at her home.  She was born in Mexico, daughter of the late Alvno Nava and Nicolasa Moreno.  She was preceded in death by her parents.  Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00pm Friday at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Broadway with Rev. Noorio Martinez officiating. Burial will follow in the Broadway Town Cemetery.   Surviving is her daughter Miriam Valente-Garcia of Sanford, NC.  Sons David Vazquez of Broadway, NC and Jose Fuentes and wife Margarita of Wisconsin; Sister Yolanda Tereza of Broadway, NC and eleven grandchildren.  The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Thursday evening at the Smith Funeral Home in Broadway.  Online condolences can be made at www.smithfuneralhomebroadway.com Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
