Rachel Lee Kelly Stickel, age 82 of Sanford, died Tuesday (4/26/2016) at her home. She was born in Lee County, daughter of the late James Lee Kelly Sr. and Irene Lett Kelly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Brother Larry Kelly, Sister Sylvia Yarborough and her husband Clair Willard Stickel. She was a member of the Juniper Springs Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 3pm Friday at the Juniper Springs Baptist Church with Rev. John Hackney and Rev. Garland Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Broadway Town Cemetery. Surviving are her sister Lou Etta Roberts and husband Dewey of Sanford, NC; Brother James Kelly Jr. and wife Melba of Sanford, NC and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Thursday night at the Smith Funeral Home in Broadway.
