Ralph James Watson, age 70 of Sanford, died Friday (11/22/2019) at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford.  He was born on December 13, 1948, son of the late William Otis Watson and Ruby Robena Spencer Watson.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers William Otis Watson Jr., Clinton Edward Watson, Charles Larry Watson, George Michael Watson, Jessie Fernando Watson and sisters Ola Miller, Jackie Faucette and Mary Ruth Watson.  Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 3pm Tuesday at the Watson Family Cemetery with Pastor Shane Wilson officiating.    Surviving are his sister Dorothy Brantley of Cameron, NC, Brother in law Neil Miller of Sanford, NC and his nieces and nephews.  Online condolences can be made at www.smithfuneralhomebroadway.com Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
