Ramsey Tyler Lawrence, age 14,  of Cameron, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2026.  He was born in Moore County, son of Paul Christopher Lawrence Jr. and Mersadies Marie Smith Harris.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Lucinda Lawrence.  Ramsey was a student at Western Harnett High School and had aspirations of becoming a dentist.  He was smart and creative, liked dragons and playing video games.  He was a compassionate person and loved spending time with his brother, camping and going to the lake.  He is survived by his mother, Mersadies Smith Harris (Troy) of the home and  his father, Paul Christopher Lawrence Jr. of Cameron, NC; brother, Kage Michael Lawrence of the home; maternal grandparents, Tabatha Ann Smith Boyce (William) of Cameron, NC and Robert Clayton Smith (Flor) of Clayton, NC and paternal grandfather, Paul Christopher Lawrence Sr. of Cameron, NC.  The family will receive friends from 1:00pm-2:30pm on Saturday (7/11/2026) at the Smith Funeral Home in Broadway.  A celebration of life service will follow with Rev. William Smith officiating.
