Raymond Karl Ivey, age 59 of Willow Springs, died Friday (1/3/2020).  He was born on January 26, 1960, son of William D. Ivey Sr. and Lina Mathilde (Roessler) Ivey.  He was preceded in death by his brother Ronald Edward Ivey.  Raymond was a graduate of UNC Pembroke and UNC Wilmington where he earned his education licensure.  Graveside memorial services will be conducted at 12:00pm Thursday, at the Olive Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery in Apex with Rev.  Daniel Woodard officiating.  Surviving are his parents William D. Ivey and Hilde Ivey of Fayetteville, NC.  His wife Jennifer Adell Ivey and his son Ian Christopher Ivey of the home.  Brothers William Dennis Ivey Jr. of Fayetteville, NC and Michael Patrick Ivey of Bakersfield, CA.  Sisters Carol Ivey Benton of Pinehurst, NC and Jeannine Ivey Harrison of Fuquay Varina, NC.  Online condolences can be made at www.smithfuneralhomebroadway.com Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
