Rebecca Ann "Becky" Hardy, age 81 of Lillington, died Friday (12/23/2016) at her home. She was born in Lee County, daughter of the late Franklin Pat Hall and Ethel Thomas Hall. She was preceded in death by her parents, several brothers and sisters, Husband Harvey Lee Hardy, Sons Jerry Lynn Hardy and Harvey Lynn Hardy, Daughter Annie Hardy Richardson, granddaughter Tiffany Leigh Lemons and son in law Tony Byrd. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00pm Friday at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Garland Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Cool Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery. Surviving are her daughters Peggy Hardy Kennison and husband Gary of Sanford, NC and Pansy Hardy Byrd of Lillington, NC; Sons David Lee Hardy and wife Nancy of Sanford, NC and Terry Glen Hardy and wife Dana of Siler City, NC; Sister Ruth Berryman of Sanford, NC, daughter in law Linda Baker Hardy of Lillington, NC, eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Thursday evening at the Smith Funeral Home in Broadway.
