Rebecca Sharpe Kelly, age 82 of Sanford, died Friday (11/5/2021) at her home.  She was born in Lee County, daughter of the late Ben Joe Sharpe and Mary Frances Mae Gilmore Sharpe.  Becky was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, O. Wayne Kelly, Brothers, Frankie Sharpe and Van Sharpe and sisters, Mary Deanna Sharpe Valle and Donna Sharpe Bryant. She was the office administrator for Kelly Farms.   Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm Sunday at Juniper Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie Thomas officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Saturday at the Smith Funeral Home in Broadway.   Surviving are her sons, David Kelly (Tamara) and Daniel Kelly (Kimberly) of Sanford, NC.  Sisters, Frances Kelly (Donald), Jackie Tart, Patricia Stone (Jimmy), Jenny Kennedy.  Sister-in-laws, Mary Sue Sharpe and Linda Sharpe of Sanford, NC and her brother, Benny Sharpe of Sanford, NC. Grandchildren, Britney Ellis, Hayley Loman, Kaitlyn Kelly, Melissa Ammons, Joshua Kelly, Cameron Kelly and Jacob Kelly.  Great-grandchildren, Kelly Ellis, Aniston Ellis, Reagan Tillman, Levi Ellis, Aleigha Ammons, Brennan Loman and Piper Kelly.  The family would like to thank to Becky's caregivers, Ashley Tickle Bayles, Ashley Gunter and Lisa Howard for the care provided.       Online condolences can be made at www.smithfuneralhomebroadway.com Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
