Robert "Bobby" Cook Satterfield Jr.,  age 70 of Lillington passed away peacefully at his home on July 31, 2025.   He was predeceased by his wife, Sandi Satterfield; daughter, Dora Briones, his father, Robert Cook Satterfield and his step-father, Frank Hackney.   Bobby enjoyed his work as a welder and riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycles. When he wasn't doing that, he enjoyed working on cars, which was another favorite pastime. Bobby is survived by his mother,  Agnes Marie Throckmorton Hackney of Halifax, VA;  daughters,  Frankie Satterfield of Lillington, NC, Seirra Satterfield of Chesterfield, VA, Sandra Satterfield of Lynchburg, VA and son, Joshua Michael Satterfield of Chesterfield VA; sisters, Vicki Satterfield of Halifax, VA, Brinda Satterfield of Ringold, VA, and Lauren Satterfield of Chester, PA;  brothers,  Kenneth Satterfield and Jimmy Satterfield, both of Halifax, VA,  David Satterfield and Jeffery Satterfield, both of Chester, PA and Michael Satterfield of California; step-brother, Ernie Hackney of South Boston, VA  and step-sister, Wandy Hackney of Danville, VA; fifteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
