Rose Marie Petrone Howery, age 65 of Lillington, died Thursday (12/8/2016) at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on March 4, 1951, daughter of the late Frank George Petrone and Marie Froh Melnyk. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sister Theresa Holland, Brother Joe Petrone and stepfather Steve Melnyk. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2:00pm Sunday at the Melnyk Family Cemetery in Lillington with Rev. Paul Conley officiating. Surviving is her husband Duane Edward Howery of the home; Daughter Victoria Kline of Cameron, NC, Sons Frank Besaw and Stephen Besaw both of King George, VA and Greg Allen Besaw of Littleton, CO. Step-children Dawn Williams and husband Keith of Myrtle Beach, SC Dana Moore and husband Jeremy of Holly Springs, NC and Robert George Howery of Seattle, WA. Sisters Jan Dandron and husband Mike of Cameron, NC, Robin Yow and husband Robert of Sanford, NC, Nancy Morrison of Lillington, NC and Bell Stathakis and husband Matt of Goldsboro, NC. Brother Frank Petrone of Lillington, NC and eighteen grandchildren.
