Ruth Turner Micros, age 88 of Broadway, died Sunday (8/3/2014) at Transitions Life Care in Raleigh. She was born in St. Charles, Virginia, daughter of the late Claude David Turner and Thelma Page Turner. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James B. Micros, Son Michael D. Micros and siblings Doris Turner Brounda, Harry L. Turner, Robert L. Turner, Freda Turner Spear and Margaret Turner Feagan. Memorial service will be conducted at 11:00am Thursday at the Holly Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Parsons officiating. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery. Surviving are her brothers Tom Turner and wife Kay of Broadway, NC, Richard Turner of Havana, Florida and James Turner of Milledgeville, GA; daughter in law Karen Micros of Broadway, NC and grandsons Stephen Micros and Christopher Micros. Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
