Sandra Kay Musselwhite McFarland, age 53 of Sanford, passed away on Sunday (12/15/2024) at her home with her family by her side.  She was born in Lee County, daughter of Herman Duncan Musselwhite and Vernie Shue Medlin.  She was preceded in death by her daughters, Dana Shorb and Ashely McFarland, and grandsons, Aiden Smith and Robbie Smith.  Surviving is her husband Phillip McFarland; daughters, Michelle Musselwhite and husband Craig, Danielle Smith and husband Jason and Elayna McFarland; sons, Thomas Shorb and fiancé Amme and Phillip McFarland Jr. and wife Samantha; father, Herman Duncan Musselwhite and mother, Vernie Medlin Shue; grandchildren, Teanna Brower, Savannah Smith, Gabriella Shorb, Hailey McFarland, Maci McFarland, Shayla Smith, Christian Smith, Hayley Smith, Mason Smith, Jackson Shorb, Liam Shorb, Silus Smith, Ashton McFarland, Thomas McFarland, Bailey Smith, RJ Cox, Makai Berryman; great-grandchildren, Josiah Gonzalez, Jasiah Siegrist, Jermiah Brown, Cadence Brown, Mia Smith, Kyng Siegrist and Zaylynn Brown.  The family will receive friends on Friday (12/20/2024) from 6-8pm at Smith Funeral Home in Broadway.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday (12/21/2024) at 2pm at Southside Baptist Church with Pastor John McVay officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Online condolences can be made at www.smithfuneralhomebroadway.com  Arrangements are by Smith Funeral Home, Broadway Inc.
