Sarah Alice Bryson Council, age 87 of Lillington, formerly of Green Level, passed away on Tuesday (3/28/2023).  She was born in Wake County on July 19, 1935, daughter of the late John Hunter Bryson Sr. and Kathleen Yates Bryson.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Billy Wray Council, son, Richard Council, brother, John H. Bryson Jr. and granddaughter, Presley Wray Edwards.  Sarah was a member of Green Level Baptist Church.  She is survived by her daughter Lynette Edwards and husband Ronnie of Lillington, NC.  Sisters, Hattie Jo Sears of Apex, NC and Melba Bryson of Mississippi.  Grandchildren, Josh Edwards, Jessie Perkins (Jon), Hunter Edwards, Bryson Edwards, Jeb Edwards, Brody Council and Tanner Council.   The family will receive friends from 1-2pm Tuesday (4/4/2023) at Green Level Baptist Church.  Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00pm at Green Level Baptist Church with Rev. Ben Pearce and Rev.
