Sarah Faye Wimberly Smith, age 90 of Moncure, North Carolina, passed peacefully away on Tuesday morning, March 4th,  2025, surrounded by her family.  She was preceded in death by her parents, John Robert Hearn and Cleon Williams Hearn, her brothers John Robert Hearn Jr. and J.E. Hearn; her husband of 50 years, Ben Wimberly, son Randy Wimberly and her late husband William Smith.  Sarah was a longtime member of Haywood Bible Church in Moncure.  She is survived by her son, Danny Wimberly (Marie); daughters Theresa Parker (Mike) and LuAnn Turlington (Rodney); nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.  Funeral services will be conducted at 1pm Friday (3/7/2025) at Haywood Bible Church with Rev.
