Shannon Marie McElveen, age 36 of Spring Lake, passed away on Saturday (6/21/2025) at her home.  She was born on May 26, 1989, in Wake County, daughter of Doris Jean Champion Callis and the late James Robert McElveen.  She was preceded in death by her father.  Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Doris Jean Callis and stepdad, Robert Henry Herbert of the home; sister, Amanda Tribble (Tom) of Shallotte, NC; nephews, CJ Inman, Robert Steven McElveen, Alexander Jacob McElveen; nieces, Selena Anglin and Katelyn Danielle Inman; and her fur babies, Scooter and Hersey.  The family will receive friends from 11:00-12:45 on Thursday (6/26/2025) at Calvary Church, 185 Calvary Church Road, Sanford, NC.  Funeral service will follow at 1:00pm with Rev.
