Steven Michael Patterson, age 44 of Broadway, died Friday (10/30/2020).  He was born on August 13, 1976, son of James Russell Patterson and Arlene Stewart Patterson.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents Thurman Patterson, and Emery and Adline Stewart.  Steven was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church and loved coaching baseball.    He was a good friend to all and always had a smile on his face.  Funeral services will be conducted at 11am Monday (11/2/2020) at Holly Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Yow officiating.  Burial will follow in the Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.  Surviving is his grandmother, Christine Patterson of Broadway.  Parents, James Russell Patterson and Arlene Stewart Patterson of Broadway.  Sons, Dylan Michael Patterson and Blake Steven Patterson of Broadway.  Sister, Holly Patterson of Orlando, Florida.  The family will receive friends following the service in the Holly Springs Church Multi-purpose building.  For the safety of all, social distancing and mask are requested for the services.  In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Smith Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.   Online condolences can be made at www.smithfuneralhomebroadway.com Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
