Steven Lee Poe, age 50 of Sanford, died Thursday (3/3/2016) at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill. He as born in Long Beach, California, son of Ronald Joe Poe and Janet Pacleb Poe. He was preceded in death by his sister Jennifer Poe West, paternal grandmother Jean VanEss and paternal grandfather Woodrow Wilson Poe. A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday (3/5/2016) at 4:00pm, at the Christian Faith Ministries with Pastor Donald Kivette officiating. Surviving are his parents Ronald Poe and Janet Poe of Sanford, NC; Sons Steven Michael Driver, Bradley Driver and Aaron Smith; Brother Ronald Poe "Ron" Jr. and wife Lisa of Medina, Ohio and four grandchildren.
