Terrence (Terry) Naylor Logue, 78, of Sanford, NC, passed away on Tuesday (10/31/23) at Cape Fear Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC.  Terry Logue was born in New Brunswick, NJ on June 25, 1945, son of Francis Naylor Logue and Alyce Victoria Gould Logue.  Terry received his B.S. in Chemistry from RPI in Troy, NY.  This is where he met his lifetime partner and wife, Barbara Denn Logue and her dear daughter, Sheila.  Together they lived many happy years in a log cabin in the woods of Pittsboro, NC, where they could observe nature from their porch.  Terry's personal passion was birdwatching, and he participated in many Audubon bi-annual bird counts over the years.   Terry was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Barbara, and his stepdaughter, Sheila O'Reilly Denn.  His only sister, Megan Logue Paulus, of Pauls Valley, OK, and his only brother, (Francis) Michael Logue, of Hot Springs, NC, survive Terry.  Also surviving is Terry's son-in-law, Sam Kalat, of Cary, NC and his three sister-in-laws, Blair Logue, of Hot Springs, NC, Judith Burns McCormick of Liverpool, NY and Janice Burns Bowditch of New York, NY.  No services are planned at this time, but a Memorial for Terry, Barb and Sheila is in planning stages for the Spring of 2024.
