Tommie Blue McDonald Sr. age 77 of Lillington, died Tuesday (2/25/2020) at his home surrounded by his family.    He was born in Harnett County, son of the late Woodrow Wilson McDonald and Annie Mae Mize McDonald.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother John Troy "J.T." McDonald.  Tommie was a Veteran of the United States Navy and retired from NCR/AT&T.  Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday (2/29/2020) at 2:00pm at Ephesus Presbyterian Church with Rev. Bruce Benton officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Surviving is his wife Julia "Judy" McGinnis McDonald of the home.  Son Tommie Blue McDonald Jr. and wife Gay of Sanford, NC.  Daughter Stephanie McDonald Wilson and husband John of Broadway, NC.  Step-daughter Frances Michelle Bailey of Goldsboro, NC.  Sister Barbara M. Ross and husband Robert of Lillington, NC, Brother Ronald McDonald and wife Diane of Lillington, NC and Sister in law Linda McDonald of Lillington, NC.  Grandson Daniel Lee Blackmon and wife Melissa; three great grandchildren, Brian C. Butler, Alice L.
