Wayne Cornelius Lee, age 75 of Broadway, died Sunday (10/23/2016) at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford. He was born in Bakerhill, Alabama, son of the late Jessie Cornelius Lee and Fay Baker Lee. He was preceded in death by his parents, and Brother Bruce Lee. He was Veteran of the United States Marine Corp having served in Vietnam. He was a member of the IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) Local 553 and retired from Dynea in Moncure. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00am Wednesday at the Leaflet Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev. David Pretty and Rev. Tom Spence officiating. Surviving is his wife Linda Cameron Lee of the home; Brother Ronnie Lee of Phenix City, Alabama; Sister in law Judy McCarley of Smith, Alabama; nephew David Lee and Niece Michelle Lee. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Tuesday evening at the Smith Funeral Home in Broadway.
