Wayne David "WD" Comer Jr., age 34 of Sanford, died Monday (5/16/2016). He was born in Moore County on August 28, 1981, son of Wayne David Comer Sr. and Lisa Baker Comer. He was preceded in death by his Grandpa Cecil Baker and his Papa Charlie Comer. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00pm Friday at the Cypress Presbyterian Church in Vass, NC with Rev. Barbara Hedin officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Surviving are his parents, Wayne and Lisa Comer of Sanford, NC; Sister Jillian Chubet and husband Jason of Hill Air Force Base, Utah; Brother Jon Comer of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; Fiancée Chasity Davis and their son Gavin Comer of the home; Maternal Grandmother Frances Baker of Sanford, NC and Paternal Grandmother Lois Comer of Vass, NC; and Niece Sonya Comer of Sanford, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at Cypress Presbyterian Church and other times at the home of Wayne and Lisa Comer.
