William Dalrymple Harrington Jr., age 92 of Broadway, died Tuesday (7/3/2018) at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford. He was born on July 27, 1925, son of the late William Dalrymple Harrington and Florence H. Harrington. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings Lou Harrington McCormick, Lena Harrington Pritchett, Neal Harrington, Annie Harrington Cameron and Joanna Harrington McCullough, his wife Mildred McLeod Harrington and daughter in law Janice Harrington. Bill was a member of the Mt. Pisgah Presbyterian Church and was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was a World War II Veteran, was the recipient of a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 2pm at the Mount Pisgah Presbyterian Church with Rev. Doug Houston officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the church cemetery. Surviving are his sons, Billy Harrington of Broadway, NC, Barry Harrington and wife Pam of Garner, NC, and Jimmy Harrington and wife Jackie of Broadway, NC. Grandchildren, William D. Harrington IV and wife Nikki                           and Austin Johnson and husband Travis. Great grandchildren Karli Johnson and Levi Johnson, God daughter Kelli Thomas Ratz and special friend Bonnie Gaster. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2pm Friday in the Mount Pisgah Presbyterian Church Fellowship hall, prior to the funeral services. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials are made to the Mt.
