William Robert Parker, age 66, of Black Mountain, NC, formerly of Moncure, died Monday (8/17/2020) at Mission Hospital in Asheville.  He was born on October 23, 1953, son of the late James Randal Parker Sr. and Mamie Lois Dunn Parker.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Patti Lou Parker. Robert worked for many years at Moncure School and Allied Fibers.   Graveside funeral services will be held at 11am Saturday at the Broadway Town Cemetery with Rev. Garland Smith officiating.  Surviving are his sisters, Shirley Boudreau and husband Peter Hartogensis of Bethany Beach, DE, Sylvia Fowler of Pittsboro, NC, Sue Mason of Ocilla, GA, Dorothy Holmes and husband Samuel of Dunn, NC and Cathy Patterson of Raeford, NC.  Brother, James R.
