Susan Rogers Driggers, age 68 of Sanford, died Wednesday (9/8/2021) at Transitions Hospice in Raleigh with her family by her side.  She was born in Lee County, daughter of the late Bert Townsend Rogers and Phoebe Hardy Rogers.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Tommy Rogers, Sister Lillie Mae McLeod, daughter Libby Burnette and grandsons, James Michael Driggers and Daniel Driggers.  Graveside funeral service will be conducted at 3pm Sunday at Poplar Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Keith Miller officiating.  Surviving are her daughters, Michelle Driggers Jernigan and husband Kevin of Hope Mills, NC and Misty Driggers of Sanford, NC.  Sister, Virginia Davis of Burlington, NC.  Brothers, Richard Rogers of Broadway, NC and Keller Pate of Oak Island, NC.  Her significant other, Jimmy Brafford of Sanford, NC and her sister in Christ, Wanda Morris of Broadway, NC, four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  Friends may visit the funeral home on Saturday between the hours of 3pm-5pm to sign the register and pay their respects.  Online condolences can be made at www.smithfuneralhomebroadway.com Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
